COMBAT 2020

[EN] Combat is a performance created by Raoul Martin and Alina Noir, and interpreted on the 23rd of August, 2020 in Lyon. In this choreographic work, cycles of violence and respite occur unpredictably, rendering the performers incapable of control. The gestural choices and the bodies’ random movements are closely combined in a cyclic state of transformation and eternal return into an implicit form of ritual.

[FR] Combat est une performance conçue par Raoul Martin et Alina Noir, et interprétée le 23 août 2020 à Lyon. Dans cette création chorégraphique, des cycles de violence et de répit alternent sans qu’il ne soit donné aux performeurs de les prévoir ou de les contrôler. Les choix gestuels et le hasard corporel sont étroitement mêlés dans un état de transformation constante et d’éternel retour en arrière, à l’instar d’une forme implicite d’acte rituel.
